Bed Bug Picture Gallery

Due to the size of this growing bed bug picture collection, I've turned it into a gallery of sorts and broken it down into category pages.  You’ll find a couple of sample pics for each category here...with a link to the page where you can see more.

Adult Bed Bugs Picture Collection

Here’s a high resolution picture of an adult bed bug in all its glory.

It has antennae, six legs and no functional wings. Notice the rusty-brown color. It is extremely flat - like a credit card, but the hairs on its back give it a banded or striped appearance

But after a bed bug feeds on human blood, it looks like an entirely different insect...

The picture below shows an engorged adult bed bug finishing a blood meal. As their bodies fill with blood, they swell up and become more elongated. They also turn more purplish-red in color.

Bed Bug Nymph Picture Collection

Bed bug nymphs (some folks call them baby bed bugs) are a little harder to see, but still visible to the naked eye.
